How To Live Free From Stress
How do you live free from stress when everything seems to go wrong, stressing you out and taking away your peace? Does this resonate with you? Here is how to live a stress-free life.
When God created human, His intention for us was to live free from stress and worry, by providing everything we will need to survive on this earth. But our fore-parents, Adam and Eve gave that authority to the devil when they ate the fruit which God had commanded them not to eat in the garden of Eden when they were tempted by the devil.
But thank God for Jesus who redeemed and gave us back the authority through His birth, death and resurrection, so that anyone who receives Jesus Christ as savior gains his/her authority again and can claim that peace again.
You have to remember that stress and worry go hand in hand, it’s a weapon or strategy from the devil to get you lose your confidence in yourself so that he can manipulate you. But always remember this truth, that you have been redeemed with the blood of Christ.
Be Anxious for Nothing
The opposite of peace is worry. The Greek word for anxious means to have a mind divided between legitimate thoughts and destructive thoughts.
Destructive thoughts will choke out the word of God and cause you to abandon trust.
When you take your anxiety to God in prayer, your discover peace. For the Bible says; “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)”
This stress-free life can only be found in God. There’s nothing in this world that can bring you peace accept your reliance on God.
The context of this promise of perfect peace is what it so inviting. Because you are sure of God’s protection, comfort and encouragement no matter the circumstance.
When your problem is worry, the prescription is prayer, right thinking and proper response.
In Philippians 4:6-7, the Bible says; “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Right thinking will win the battle of stress and worry. God wants you to take your worries to Him and believe that He has heard you and will not delay with your answer.
Now, know that the Lord is for you and nothing can be against you. He has better plans and wants the best for you.
Let the peace of God guard your hearts and mind through Jesus Christ!

Two Ways Stress Operate
Stress is the body’s responds to any kind of demand, it can be good or bad experience.
The body react when people feel stressed about something that is going on around them, and the body’s reaction releases some chemicals into the blood. And these chemicals give people more energy which can be a good thing when the stress was caused by a physical danger, e.g is when been attacked by a wild animal.
It can bad if the stress is in response to something emotional and there’s no outlet for the extra strength and energy.
So, the only way to channel this extra strength and energy is to turn to God for help.
