And at age 12, my dad requested me coming over to spend the term’s vacation holidays with him. I was excited because that was the first time I was traveling with my dad and also moving from the town I lived with my mother in another town. Little did I know that that was the last time I will ever live with my mother and the beginning of a difficult life.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”47px”][vc_column_text]I stayed with one stepmother after the other till I got married. The challenges and the emotional and verbal abuses I suffered from my upbringing formed a certain negative impression in my mind about life. I did not have an independent mind of my own, always trying to please people and thought their opinions are much better than mine. I tried to prove to people that I got it all together just to fit in and receive some love. This continued my entire childhood, youth, and part of my adult life, even though I was a born again Christian, I couldn’t break myself from my past, until all hell broke loose on an organization I established and had to travel outside my country to work to pay my debtors.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”47px”][vc_column_text]I perceived life with the lenses of my experience and as a result of my inexperience and sometimes sheer lack of understanding of myself and the business world; I lost everything and had to start all over again several times. In every case when this happens, I will begin by sitting down with an exercise book writing down all the things I needed to do for my next move.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”47px”][vc_column_text]After several years of not achieving my plans in life and in business, I came to my wit end and surrendered to God to lead my life. That was when I began to identify the potentials God has put in me.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”47px”][vc_column_text]The Lord always has a way of reaching out to the people who are at their lowest bottom. In my isolation, I decided to spend more time with God every day and I found my consolation in His word and watching Christian Television by listening to some of the renowned preachers. I needed to understand the basics of my Faith and my Purpose in life. And gradually my perspective on life was shifted, transformed and my way of thinking changed. This sense of freedom from more than three decades of living under this stressful life stirred up a longing in me to reach out and help others who might be in a similar situation like me or even worse to find that freedom in their mind to live the abundant life Jesus promised us in John 10:10[/vc_column_text][/qode_elements_holder_item][/qode_elements_holder][/vc_column][/vc_row]
