HOW TO KNOW JESUS
How to know Jesus is simply acknowledging Him and believing in what He did for you on the cross and accepting His amazing free gift.
Knowing Jesus is the best thing that ever happened in my life, and I want you to have this same experience which will change your life forever.
So you can begin this amazing journey into God’s plan for your life when you learn how to know Him and live for Him. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
How to know Jesus is simply acknowledging you need Him, believing in what He did for you and accepting His amazing free gift.
You recognize that you can’t live this life on your own, that you have sinned and need a savior.
The good news about knowing Jesus is the exchange that takes place at that moment. You give Him all your bad stuff and the sinful things you have done and in return, God gives you everything He has for your life.
Know that God has an amazing plan and purpose for your life and this is the first step on that journey.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
You Have Hope And A Future
It is very comforting to know someone has a better plan for your life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
This is very exciting, in spite of all your missteps and what happened along the way of life and the wrong turns, God was leading you to this very moment where He can love on you and show you how much He cares for you.
He has been drawing you to Himself to have a personal relationship with you.
He wants to restore your life and give you hope for the future. The fact of the matter is, your ultimate hope and future both lies in Him.
What this means is that you can live your whole life with and for Jesus. In
Need To Pray?
In Romans 10:9 God says, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Confessing Christ is evidence of genuine faith!
Salvation comes through belief in Christ, acknowledging that He is God and was raised from the dead.
Christ’s death satisfied God’s righteous demand for the penalty for sins and Christ’s resurrection validated both His claims and the Father’s statements that He is God.
Today, if you feel like God is calling you to have personal relationship with Him, and ready to follow His lead in everything you do, then pray this out loud;
Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned and need a savior. I believe You went to the cross and died for me and set me free from all my sins.
I give you my life and trust you to save me right now.
Today, I know I am saved and that you have forgiven me, but help me to understand how to live my life for you every day, Amen.
How to know Jesus is a daily lifestyle and can be achieved with your continous studying the word.
It’s A Journey And A Lifelong Process
You may ask yourself, so what do I do now that I have accepted Jesus Christ? It’s a great question and the right step towards your new life.
You may not feel any different but know that God has started working inside you.
You came to faith with empty hands and nothing to offer, but at the foot of the cross, you have received the gift of Christ Jesus the Lord, and this will motivate your daily choices and direction.
The Bible says in Colossians 2:6-7, As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, to walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Your roots in Christ are established through prayer, reading of God’s word, the Bible and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and lead you.
